Colossal Aviapartner Aviation Services has become one of the biggest ground handling training agents in South Africa. Our Training Academy has received a 5-star approval rating from auditors, TETA, airlines, and the South African Civil Aviation Authority.

We offer training in the range of 2,000–2,500 course interventions per month across all airports we operate from within South Africa. Our team of Training and Development Practitioners provides high-quality classroom training and on-the-job training evaluations.

We had the privilege of being the first ground handling company to have accreditation to provide the National Certificate in Aviation Support Operations, rolled out in 2019–2020.

In 2025, CAP Academy became one of the first ground handling companies accredited by the QCTO for the Airline Ground Crew Qualification — enabling us to offer learnerships, RPL programmes, and formal qualifications alongside our training.

Johannesburg

Our Johannesburg accredited training facility, based 7km from OR Tambo International, has 10 classrooms accommodating 10–20 learners each with mounted projectors and whiteboards. 3 classrooms are equipped with PCs for Airline System Training. Features a state-of-the-art boardroom, bar, fully equipped kitchen, and chill room.

Cape Town

1 accredited training classroom at Cape Town International Airport accommodating 10–20 learners, annually audited by SACAA for Health, Safety and Ambience.

Coastal (Durban, George, East London, Gqeberha)

Our Coastal training team supports the Durban, George, East London, and Port Elizabeth stations in the accredited ACSA training rooms.
